Specifics:

  • 2-3 times a week to assist with coaching practices and games

Skill Teaching

  • Understand and be able to teach current best-practices for middle school basketball
  • Create a learning environment that inspires and stretches all players to improve
  • Promote a focused and fun atmosphere that inspires players to improve In Season Oversight and Responsibility
  • Develop all practice plans and game plans
  • Complete necessary program details with athletic department

Experience and Skills:

Personal Qualifications

  • Passion for middle school students and ability to communicate effectively with them

Professional Qualifications

  • Previous basketball coaching experience
  • Program leadership qualifications
  • Knowledge of current high school coaching techniques and best practices
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
