Job Description:

The Blake School seeks a part-time percussion instructor to support our Middle and Upper School band program. The Percussion Section Coach provides 6-8 small-group lessons/sectionals per month at the Hopkins Middle School campus and leads twice-monthly sectional/master classes at the Minneapolis Upper School campus. There may also be additional opportunities to meet remotely for small group coaching or provide practice videos for student use at home. Opportunity exists to develop after-school private studio teaching. Instruction runs Sept. 2021 through May 2022.  Blake is particularly interested in candidates who will enrich the diversity of identity, lived experience and thinking that makes a community strong and empowers students to engage across differences.
