The Blake School seeks to hire energetic and enthusiastic
program specialists, counselors and camp assistants for
its Spring Break at Blake and Summer at Blake programs. Day Camp
at Blake serves over 200 weekly participants, ages 4 -14 in grades
Pre-K-8 on the Blake Hopkins campus. Candidates must be available
for employee training and preparation scheduled prior to the start
of camp.

Day Camp at Blake will take place on Blake’s Hopkins campus.
Transportation will be provided for all off-site excursions.
Counselors and program specialists report to the director to
ensure a safe, fun and nurturing environment for all participants.
Day Camp at Blake program specialists are responsible for the
overall design and implementation of camp activities in their
respective areas: arts, athletics, aquatics, STEM or nature
excursions. Program specialists are scheduled 10 - 37.5 hours per
week in support of the overall program with morning and afternoon
extended day opportunities available.
Camp counselors are responsible for assisting program
coordinators with the design and implementation of age-appropriate
enrichment activities including arts, technology, athletic,
recreation and field trips. Adult to youth ratio is 1:10 or less
in all programs. Counselors are scheduled Monday - Friday, 8:00am
- 3:45pm, with morning and afternoon extended day opportunities available.
Camp assistants have the opportunity to gain experience
working with children ages 4 - 14 in fun and flexible roles
assisting with a variety of daily tasks that support our programs
and team. Training and mentorship will be provided. Schedules are
flexible with opportunities for part-time and full-time schedules,
Monday - Friday, 7:15am - 5:45pm.
The committee will begin the review of applications on Jan. 1.
